Wood stated that Dr Collis Browns was undoubtedly the inventor of « CHLORODYNE;" that the story ol the defendant, Freeman, being the inventor, was de'iberately untrue, which he regretted had been sworn to. Eminent Hospital Physicians of London stated that Dr J Collis Browse was the discoverer of Chlorodyne; that they prescribed it largely, and mean no other than Dr Browne's. — See Times, of July 12, The Public, therefore, are cautioned against using any other than Dr. J. Dr. Lows, Medical Missionary in IndU, report* (December, 1865) : — " That in nearly, every case of Cholera in which Dr. J. Collis Bbowke's Chlorodyne was administered, the, patient recovered." I Extract from the Medical Times, January; 12, 1866 :— " Chlorodyne is prescribed by! scores of orthodox medical practitioners.
