To the Editor of. the ' Evening Mail.'
Sra — Your issue of Monday contains a letter sigred "Henry Baly," inferring that the auction sale announced for the 2nd October, in Trafalgar-square, is a sham, because his name ia connected with the matter, without his knowledge, or consent, or 'sanction. This egotistical remark is absurd. •' Methinks there are two Richmonds in the field." He 'say 8 that he seldom reads the pipers, "generally." This is to be regretted, because a man who neglects reading ' daily papers must be very ignorant of many things important to know. If the " Old Baly " of Nelson will come to the auction on Friday next, as advertised, In Trafalgar-square, I will introduce him, with pleasure, to the "New Baly." Who knows but; that he might discover a long-lost relation ? . \; ' Yours, &c . H. J. L. ArjG-BLE,
