Nelson College.— Charles Tates Fell, Esq., bas been appointed a Governor of the College, in the place of Thomas Bronner, deceased.

Supreme Court. — The criminal sittings of the Supreme Court commence on Monday next. There are four cases to be tried, namely, Margaret Cox for unlawfully and maliciously wounding at Westport ; Stephen Matthews for maliciously wounding ; Thomas Brooks . for feloniously killing a sheep ; and Newman Boseley and Wi'liom Millyard for wilful murder. Ooly one civil case is set down for hearing, that of the National Bank v. Mortimer.
