Greymouth, July 21. Captain. Walters, pf the schooner Alma, has been fined £5 and cqets for neglecting to give the ship's articles to the shipping master of this port in accordance with the Merchant Seamen's Act. The Agent-General by telegram dated July 3, announces to the Premier tbat during the month of June the following ships with immigrants sailed for the colony:— Oxford, with 430 souls for Auckland; Cbarlevalo (?) Carlisle and Douglas with 870 for Wellington; Parsee, Tweed, aod Christian M'Auslaod with 1370 for Otngo; Callicott, supposed to bo Calliope, Canterbury, Merchont. and Gutenbprg with 1440 for Canterbury. These numbers make a total of immigrants shipped for New Zealand between tbe Ist January and the end of June, of 21,400. The railway plant shipped during June was 2000 lons of rails and fastenings; 30 weighing machines; 25 sets of waggon irons; 32 tons of bridge work; 122 cylinders; 1500 coils of wire ; aod 624 cases of telegraph material.
