Mr Mosley'a Prices Current states the Customs duties collected at tbe Port of Wellington for the month of June, 1874. to be £9,09-; ditto for Jane, 1873, £7.504. Stocks in bond on June 50th show an increase in the month" of 50 quarter-casks, 600 cases of brandy, and 500 cases of geneva, although the clearances have been large The exports for the quarter ending June, 1874, amount to £7.6,495, ditto for the corresponding quarter of 1873, £78,676; tbe difference being in flax valued in 1873 at £14,824, but in 1874 at £649 only. Tbe export of this aitide in 1873 wis exceptionally large. Striking it out of both returns the table shows an increase in the exports of ordinary articles. The Bank returns for the quarter will show an increase of about two millions let on loan npon the amoant let ia Jane, 1873. Auckland, July 4. Mr Binney reports the grain market firm. The store waa filled with-, sauce and bottles. Tbe stock and premies were insured in the New Zealand Office for £2fioo, and the Royal for £i,uoo.
