They there ore h*ve no heoitaion in suggesting the' prudence and wisdom of the Colonists keeping within their own domain the absolute control of their own monies; as by so doing they will most effectually destroy the ruk'of luture monetary disturbances, which they have had on more than one occasion to deplore in the past, .rought about solely by some crisis that bas occurred in one or other of the Australian Colonies, where the real interests of the foreign Bank most strongly take root. 9th It bas been determined by the Prompters that the firaD issue of 200 000 Shares shall be conducted by Committees to be appointed severally in ihe chief City in each Province; and no Shares will be given or reserved to the Promoters; tut each member of the Provieional Committee is willing to become a sub? criber for tbe number of Shares standing opposite hia name* 10th. It is proposed at the issue of Shares above re'erred to, that 5s rer sbare be paid on Application; lhat 10s per share be paid on Allotment; that a Call of Ss per share be made and payable two months after Allotment; that a Second Call of 5s per share be made ana payable four months alter Allots ment ; and that a Third Call of ss. per ebare be made and payable^ months after Allotment—making . together 30a. pa:'d-tp per Share. No further Cad to be made within twe've months of ihe Bank first commencing nusiness in Dunedin ; after which, future (Jails will not exceed ss. per Share, nor be , m'de at shorter intervals than three months between each (Jail. llth. The Act of Incorporation for this Bank will be so framed as to limit the liability of tbe Sharebo ders to twice the amount ' of their shares, the same as the other Banks. 12th. Aa a thoroughly Colonial Institution, the promoters have much pleasure in strongly recommending "The Colonial Bank of New Zealand" to the support of all Colonists / having the real welfare of New Zealand at heart Such an Institution ia much wanted at the present time, and as the, development of the Colony proceeds, ita usefulness will also increase, and be more and more appreciated, both aa an investment for the savings of the people and aa a useful Bank.
