Sir — A most misleading and absurd paragraph, re Collingwood coal, from the New Zealand Times, appeared in your paper last night, and as Dr. Hector's name is freely used, giving the statement nn air of authority, I have written to that gentleman, calling his attention to the paragraph in question, and I have no doubt he will give it the necessary contradiction by the return mail.
