The Draufege of Mines agitation is on again. The Pumping Association are sueing in the Warden's Court for contributions from the mines alleged to be benefitted. The first case was tilled to-day against the City of London. The Pumping Association claim that their works drain the whole of the flat as well as Hall's and the Bright Smile. The Company claim contributions from all claims adjoining it, and contend that they only drain the Waiokaraka mines. The consequence is that the Association and the Bright Smile are both claiming contributions from the same mines.
