One buyer, we learn, has^cleared out holders of wheat to the extent , of 10,000 bags in parcels of 4000, 1700,1500, 1000 bags, and smaller lines at prices ranging from 6s 7d to 6s 9& JHew Zealand /.and lasmanian coast' wht-afc have been. disposed of at 6s Id to 6s 3d. Oats are firm at 5s to 5s 4d for feeding sorts, and at 5s 7Jdtoss 8d for milling. 600 bsgs were disposed of -today by auction at 5s Id to 6s 3d for feeding, and 300 bags of. : milling were placed- privately at 5s 7d. We are informed by telegram that the Californtan oats wh eh leached Sydney by tbe mail Bteamer, about 12,000 bushels, were bought there yesterday by a Ballarat firm at 3s lOd net. Hops are quiet, .and quotations, stand at Is lOd for Kent 18735, and at 1 tdtb Is 3d for yearlinjgs. Tasmanian-j are neglected; 1874 range irom Mto Is, but we hear* of no sales. Business^iri malt is confined to the disposal of trade parcels at lis 6d to lis 7d, For Jarge lines we quote 10s 9d to lis.
