J 315 TaE following Extract from tho Regulators for the Registration of LIFE POLICIES, is published for general informaticn : — 1. Every policy- bolder, who ia such in respect of a policy granted' or entered into in New Zealand by a Company who Bhall have made a deposit of securities under the "Life Assurance Companies Act, 1873," may. if the po'icy or contract bas been made before the commencement ef the said Act, register such policy with the Public Trustee within twelve months after the commencement of tbe said Act, but not after ; and if made after the Commencement of the said Act, thin witbin six months alter the making thereof. (N.B. The Ist ot November, 1873, is fixed as the commencement ol the Act). 2. The person intending to register a policy shall cither deliver the same to the Public Trustee, at his office in Wellington, or may deliver the same to an agent ; and every such person shall mske application to register such policy in a form which can be obtnined at any Post Office ii the Colony at whieh Money Orders are issued. 3. The Public Trustee shall make and keep a book for the registration of policies, in wlrch the particulars of each policy shall be recorded. 4. There ehall be paid to the Public Trustee by the policy-holder a tee of five shillings on the registration thereof. 5. liach policy shall bear a registration number according to the. order in which it has been received, rnd when registeied the Public Trustee shall make and sign a memorandum thereof in the form or to the efftct following:— No Rbgisteked in pursuance of "The Life Assurance Companies Act, 1873." this day ot ,18 .
