THE BANK OF NEW ZEALAND acting for the Auckland Improvement Commissioners invito TENDERS for the whole or a_y portion of Debentures representing Fifty Thousand Pounds, beariug Six per cent int< rest, payable half-yearly. The Debentures tiy «' The Auckland Improvement Act, 1873," are made a first charge on the lands aod rents of land vested iu the Commissioners, which at present comprise a*mut forty-nine acres, including the Albert Burrack Reserve, being the mos*; valuable part of the city, and nffording undoubted security to the holder. The Debentures bave coupons attached for each half-year's interest, wbich, with the principal, may be made payable at any of the Chief "ranches of tbe B >nk of New Zealand in New Zealand, the place of payment to be declared by letter addressed to the b'eoretary for the Auckland Improvement Commissioners wiihin three months from date of acceptance of Tender, otherwise to be understood to be payable in Auckland. The principal will be repaid at par by a one per cent, cumulative J-inkng Fund, applied by annual drawings to the extinction of the debt. The drawings will take place in the month of October in each year, commencing in 1876, at the ofTlee of, and on a day to be notified by the Improvement Commissioners, and will be conducted in presence of a Notary Public and anv of the Debenturehold* rs who may please to attend. The Debentures drawn will be paid at par on the 10th January following. The Commissioners declare their minimum at par, and Tenders at or above that rate, in accordance with the form annexed, and a dressed •' Tender for Six per cent. Debentures," will be received by the Bank of New Zealand, at Auckland, up to Noon ot TUEvSDaY, tho 30th of June next, when they will be opened in presence of any of tbe Tenderers who elect to attend. Payment will bo required as follows :— - On application, 5 per_ cent, on amount applied for. On 15th July, equal to 50 per cent, (inclusive of depot-it) on amount allotted. On 31st July, 50 per cent.
