A SINGULAR DIALOGUE.
The following conversation is recorded by Dean Ramsey, as having taken place in his hearing between two Scotchmen. There is a remarkable peculiarity, in the whole dialogue there ia not a consonant, A.— Oo? 8.-—Aye 00. A.— A' oo ? B. — Aye a' 00. A. — A' ae 00. B. — Aye a' ae 00. — The conversation was between a draper and his customer, and the interpretation is as follows : — A.— Wool. B. — Yes, wool. A. — All wool ? B. — Yes, it is all wool, A. — All one kind of wool ? B. — Yes, all one kind of wool.
