Chemical Preparation of Phosphorus, / with tbe Vegetable Alkaloids Quinia, Cypripeden, XHnthoxyliu, &c. Discoverei), introduced, and extensively prescribed by Chaules Leslie Bright. M.D., Resident Surgeon to St. Mary's Hospital, London. This Phosphatic combination is pronounced by the most, eminent members, of the Medical Profession to be unequalled \for itß power in replenishing the vitality of the body, by its supplying ull the essential constituents of the blbodiand nerve substance, and for developing all the powers and functions of the system to the highest degree. It is. agreeable to the palate, and innocent in its action, while retainiug all its extraordinary properties; and as a specific, surpassing all the known therapeutic agents of the day for the speedy and permanent cure of — Nervous Prostration Liver Complaints ] Palpitation of the Heart Dizziness Noises in the head and ears I Loss of energy and appetite [ Hypochondria Eemale complaints General, debility Indigestion . Mental and physical : depressftm Consumption (in its' first stages only) Eruptions of the skin Impaired si^ht and memory Nervous fancies Impoverished blood Nervouß debility in all its stages Premature decline • and all morbid conditions of the system, arising from whatever cause. The action of the Phosphodyne is twofold —on the one hand ? increasing, the.principal which constitutes nervous energy, and on tbe other, the most powerful blood and flesh generating agent known;, therefore, a marvellous medicioe for renovating impaired and broke|t-down constitutions. It quickly improves the function of assimilation to- such a degree, that where for- years an emaciated, anxious, cadj&rerous, and semivital condit on has existed, the flush will rapidly increase in quantity ana firmness, and the whole sysi em return to a Btate of robust health. The Phosphodyne acts Aectrically upon ihe organisation ; for instance, it assists nature to genorate that human electricity which renews and rebuilds the osseous! muscular, nervous, membranous, and organfc systems. It operates on .^fie^yfeiiMyithout exciting care or thought upon tlJe individual as to the proces a . It moves tab ltings, liver, heart, kidneys, stomach, iCfSa intestines with a harmony, vigour, yet mildnesß, unparalleled iu medicine. The phosphodyne giveß back to the human structure, in a suitable form, the phosphoric or animating element of life which has then wasted, and exerts an important influence directly on the spinal marrow and nerv us system, of a nutritive, tonic, and invigorating character; maintaining that buoyant energy of the brain and muscular system which renders the mind cheerful, brilliant, and energetic, entirely overcoming that dull, inactive, and sluggish disposition which many persons experience in all their actions. The beneficial effects of the Phosphodyne are frequently shown from tjie first day of its administration, by a Remarkable increase of nervous power, with a feeling of -vigour Tand comfort to, which the patient has been, unaccustomed. . Digestion. is improved,, the ap'pe-" tite, increases wonderfully, the bowels become regular, the eyes brighter, the skin clear 'and healthy,' and the hair acquit es strength, showing, 'the importance of the action of the Phosphodyne on the organs of .nutrition. Einally, the Phosphoi-yrie "maintains a certain degree of . activity, in the previously debilitated nervous system ; its use enables all de- : bihtated organs tp. return to their sound state and perform their natural functions Persons suffering from nervous debility, or anj[ of the hundr. d Bymptoms which this" dißtressing disease assumes, may rest assured of an (effectual and even speedy "cur e7"by"the jtfdicio'us use of this most invaluable remedy. i DB. iiIGHT'S ikoSPjIODYNE : 1 ' , , •IS SOLD ONLY | ' In (Cases iat £1 is., coiitaiping|.Twp Bottles,; an4 £2 2s.,. containing live Bottles.
