Bombay, May 4. Serious rioting is taking place at Shanghai. The French settlement was stoned, and houses burnt and sacked. The English settlement wis not molested. Feveral of the rioters were shot A number of the sailors landed, and the volunteers were called out to quell the disturbance, and all is quiet now. The riot was caused in consequence of interference with some qf the Mingpo graves by the French when constructing a load.
