The question of the legality of mail coaches paying tolls haying been decided once in this province in favor of mail coaches, will be again raised in Wellington by Mr Young, the coach contractor, who gained the lormer case at Wanganui. The tender of the Messrs Brogden for the Kakanui and Island Creek bridges, Otago, f 0? 56536 has been accepted. Mr (Bees, Harris' counsel, replied that he never heard such a statement from the Bench, and would report it to the Government. Mr Home corrected himself, ,and .aid tbat be meant. to proceed with the case, and if Mr Keddell were not present he would apply for a warrant to compel bis attendance.
