At the Licensing Court yesterday, three petitions were presented from the Good Templars, and were' Wjeeted owing to their not having enough tignatures. On'y one petition had at all near two thirds of the residents of the district in question, and ih? signatures were not properly witnessed. The licenses , in question were refused en other grounds. Most of the licenses were granted. Dunedin, April 22.
