ENDEKS are invitsd for the purchase of the whole or anv portion of Fifty Thousand Pounds New Zealand Government Debentures, issued under the Act of the Legislature of the Colony, entitled " .he Weetland Joan Act, 1873." By the Act above cited, tho principal gum to be raised, and the interest thereon, are charged on the Consolidated Revenue of the Colony; a special block of 250,000 acres in extent being set apart' as security to the Colony for the amount tq be raised. ll.c Tenders -will be received and : the Debentures issued subject to the • undermentioned conditions: — ' : ' ' f ' 1. Half per cent brokerage will be allowed to brokers through whoee applications sales are effected Applications by telegraph, received not later than 10 o'clock a. m, on the Ist May, will be accepted, provided they r.re accompanied by a telegram from the Manager of any Branch or Agency of the Bank of New Zculand notifying that the necessary deposit has been paid into the Bank of New Zealand to the credit of a Loan Deposit Account. If no allotment be made, the 5 per cent deposit will be returned in full;' and if a portion only of the amount be allotted, the surplus will be applied in payment of the balance.
