The clipper schooner Waihopai, W Gibbons, master, arrived in harbor on Saturday morning, at 8 o'clock, having lei*, Wanganui on Friday morning at 4 o'clock She brings a cargo of potatoes, pigs, &c. We are indebted to the captain for late Wanganui papers. ihe brig Gazelle, Captain Brent, from Newcastle, arrived at the outer anchorage late on Eriday night, after a passage of 13 days. She reports leaving Newcastle on the 28th March \ with a fresh breeze from the N.E., which J ■ continued for 6 days, taking the vessel as far as 41° S latitude. From that time up to sighting Cape FareweU variable winds were exoerlenced, accompanied by showers of rain and a heavy tea Atter sighting the Cape on Wednesday night experienced light winds, which continued up to time of arrival.
