The tug steamer Dispatch sailed for Greymouth to-day, after having undergone a thorough overhaul at Messrs N. Edwards nnd £o'b. Anchor foundry. Her hull has received extensive repairs, and four new. plates have been pat in on each side. Her boilers have been lifted and sheathed and had new fronts put in, and sho can also boatt of two new funnels, a new safety valve, and brass check valve The engines have t een taken out and fitted with new slides and patent pistons. In <foct she has been thoroughly renovated, the work, which has occupied about seven weeks, haying been performed in a most "atisfactcry jnanner, under the superintendence of Mr Brown, the chief engineer of th^firm.
