H. J. L. AtraAUDE reports a sale of stock at Mr T. Andrews', Spring Grove, as follows: Horns. — Yearlings, useful sort, £l to £5j trap horses, A 1 condition, £15 to £16; light cart horses, £20 to £22; heavy cart horses, very uselul sort, £25 to £27. Cattle. — Calves, 158 per head; steers, two years old, 28s to 30s; heifers, three years old, 60s; two to three years, 50s ; cows, stores,, 60s to 728; bullocks, stores, £6 to £6 los. Beady sale and good attendance. He also quotes Break-o'-Day shares at 40s per share. Business done this day.

For wheat, the highest quotation is 4s 7}d, but several parcels have changed hands to icercbants aud importers at higher rates. One line of 10,000 bushels of superior Tuscan was sold at 4s 9d. Flour meets with a ready Mile at £12, and in sacks at £12 10s; bran, £5; sharps, £6; Oatmeal, 235. Oats are bought up eagerly for local consumption at 4s 3d. Barley is in keen uemand at 4s 9d to ss, being last week's rates. Good is scarce, but plenty of second rate is offering. Grass seed, mixed, 4 s 3d to 4s 6d for export; butter, lid to Is; cheese, dull at 4d to 4jd; bacon and hams, 9£d. Potatoes are not yet in the market, but have been bought to be delivered in Chrißtchurch at 60s to 60s. Mutton, 2^d; beef, 20s per iCOlbs. Dcnbdin, March 27. Fat cattle 21s per lOOlbs. Fat sheep, crossbredß. 12s 3d; Meriuos, ( Js 6d to 10s 9d. Sheep from 4s 6d to 11b. The grain market continues good; prime samples of wheat, 4b 3d to 4a lOd. 01 i oatß, 4» to 4s 2d; new 3s 8d to Ss 10d. Sheepskins, good half-bred, 4s yd to 5s 7d; station ttkiuß, in bales, 5d to 6jd per pound,
