The deceased leaves, a Widow in a delicate state of health and twoj infest children, who are by his decease deprived of their means of support. The settlers of Takaka appeal with confidence to the public of Nelson to aid in raising a small sum which may be invested for the benefit of those so untimely arid unhappily bereaved. The Lists will be kept before the public until March 31st, 1874. The Collectors being requested to forward their amounts on the 1 86 ofeach month to the Treasurer, the Revi T. N. BINSFELD, Nelson.
