She had. encountered a Btiff gale. Napieb, March 9. T v he ship Irivererne, 107 days out, arrived yesterday with 270 immigrants. Sixteen deaths occurred during the voyage from scarlatina and measles, principally children between one and six years. The passengers are in godd health, it being six weeks since any sickness occurred. Webtpoet, March 9. A heavy gale from the North-West on Saturday did much damage to the flumes on the claims; 'blew down some large buildings in course of erection ; and caused several minor casualties. The gale extended generally tiver the West Coast.
