CAMPION, an esteemed old resident of Takaka, who died on the 25th ot December, 1873, from wounds received from a hayfork on the day previously. The deceased leaves, a Widow in a delicate state of health and two infant children, who are by his decease deprived of tbeir means of support. The settlers of Takaka appeal with confidence to the public of Nelson to aid in raising a small sum which may be invested for the benefit of those so untimely and unhappily bereaved. The Lists will be kept before the public until March 31st, 1874. The Collectors being requested to forward tbeir amounts on the Ist of each month to the Treasurer, the Rev. T. N. BINSFELD, Nelson.
