DISTRICT PRIZE FIRING, 1874.
The following are the scores made by the City Rifles for the district prizes. The ranges were : — lst Sat — 200, 500, and 600 yards; 2nd set— 200, 400, and 500 yards, position any throughout, seven shots at each range. Captain Wigzell, Lieut. Sadd, and SubLieut Montalk were watching the firing in the interest of the other Companies. Several others fired in the 2nd Set, but their scores being under 3*5 points we do not publish tbem.
