The deceased leaves, __ .. a Widow in a delicate state of health and two infant children, who are by his decease deprived of tbeir means of support. The settlers of Takaka appeal with confl- .. dence to the public of Nelson to aid in raising : '"" a small sum which may be invested for the benefit of those bo untimely and unhappily bereaved. The Lists will be kept before the public • until March 31st, 1874. The Collectors being requested to forward their amounts on 1 the Ist oieach month to the Treasurer, the Bev. T. N. BINSFELD, Nelson.
