The deceased leaves a Widow in a delicate state of health and two infant children, who are by his decease deprived of their means of support. The settlers of Takaka appeal with confidence to the public oi Nelson to aid in raising a small sum which may bo invested for the benefit of those so untimely and unhappily bereaved. The Lists will be kept before the public until March 31st, 1874. The Collectors being requested to forward their amounts on the Ist oteach month to the Treasurer, the Rev. T. N. BINSFELD, Nelson.
