' Lady Barkly, from Golden Bay : 60 czs gold, 1 ton potatoes, Order; 1 hale wool, Edwards & Co. Charles Edward, irom West Coast : 64 tons coals, 2 tons coke, Edwards & Co; 1 case sundries, Wastney, EXPORTS. Ladybird, for Taranaki and Manukau : 100 cases geneva, Edwards & Co; 1 pel, Garin; 2 tramway truck?, Moutray; 3 cases fruit, Buchholz; 5 cases fruit, Burrell; 1 case fruit, M'Rae; 1 box, M'Coig.' The steam-tug Dispatch arrived from Greymouth on Sund»y. bhe will undergo extensive repairs at the Anchor Foundry. The "Wallace arrived at Greymouth this morning, eaily >anding her pas.-engerß transhipped from the Ladybird in 36 hours from thaltime of their arrival here, a considerable portion of tbat time having been spent at Westport. The Murray sailed from Wellington for Napier and Poverty Bay yesterday evening with a full cargo and a large number of passengers. The ship Harvest Home was towed out of harbour on Saturday, and now lies at the outer anchorage waiting for a fair wind to start for Port Underwood, where she will load for London. The p.s. Charles Edward, Thos. Whitwell, commander, arrived here at 930 a.m. on Sunday She reports having left here on Sunday, the Ist inst., at 10 a.m., arriving at Westport at 230 p.m. following day, baying encountered strong head winds with heavy sea on the passage; sailed for Hokitika at 11 p in. on the 3rd, arriving off there at 9 a.m , crossed the bar at 10.30 am., landed cargo snd sailed for Greymouth at II a.m. on the sth, arriving there st 1 pm, same day; d-scharged cargo and took in 64 tons coal, and sailed ior Westport at midnight on the 6ih, arriving off thereat 8 am. following morning; crossed the bar at 10 a.m., and sailed for Nelson at noon on the 7th, arriving here as above. ft!
