Latest advices from home state that tho, steamer Mongol brings 320 souls for Dunedin, the Dilharee 300 for for Lyttelton, the Woodlark 320 Wellington, the Raine and City of Glasgow 300 each for Lyttelton, and the Scimitar 430 for Dunedin. Auckland, February 4. There iB no trace of the cutter Flora McDonald. A letter from the Rotorua natives complains of the injury done to them by the Government not allowing them to lease their lands. Tauranga, February 4. The ' Times' states that the Governor will probably visit the Lake district in March. Grahamstown, February 4. The telegraph tower on the eastern bank of the Thames river waa burnt down tbis morning. Communication with Auckland and the intermediate stations is interrupted. There is no bush or scrub near the tower. No clue to origin offire.
