Tbe Papal Bull as to the election of the Pope has beeh declared purely apocryphal. Dr Kenealy's defence of the Tichborne claimant is concluded. Mr Cushing's nomination as Chief Justice of the United States has been withdrawn, because of his past connection with the Confederation. The Ultraraontanes have gained thirty seats during the recent general election in Germany. Discount is reduced' to 3 J per cent.
