Tauranga, January 24. About twenty earthquakes have been felt here during the last three days. There was a very, severe shock earl y this morning. Grahamstown, January 24. The Kuranui boiler exploded, and scalded to death Albert Cook, Richard Watson, and Mathew Paul. All were married men, and they leave' wives, and one of them fourteen children. The affair has caused a general gloom. It is the first boiler explosion that has occurred at tbe Thames. A, ,'■; . Auckland, January 24.
