The steamer Pretty Jane, originally bnilt for the New Zsaland Meat Preserving Company, but recently under charter to the Dunedin Harbor Company, has been purchased by the Auckland Steam Company for JB7OOO. The 8.8. Kennedy, W. Conway, commander, arrived in port at 930 a.m. on Sunday. She reports having left Nelson for Westport at lp.m on the 13th, arriving there at 7a.m. on the 14th ; discharged cargo, and sailed for Hokitika at 4 p.m. same day, arriving there at 8 a.m. the following morning ; landed cargo, and sailed for Greymouth at 630, arriving there at 9-30 a.m. the same day; took in 50 tons of coal, and for Westport at 8 p.m. the same evening, arriving there at 6 a.m. the following morning ; sailed again at 830 a.m., and arrived here as above
