She I brought 700 passengers. The Kifle Association prizes were presented by tbe Governor in the Town Hall on the 19th instant, and in presenting the New Zealand War Medals, he paid a very high compliment to the rec pients for their services. The Clunes riotsrs were charged with common aEsault. and fined £5 each. The Rev . Dr. Cameron and other Presbyterian Ministers nre on board the Claud Hamilton to attend the Dunedin .Synod. Valuable consignments of racing stock have been received in Melbourne and Sydney. y - A number of drownings irt the Yarrayfiave occurred. /
