Mr Mabin reports a sale by auction at Mr Ja rues Harper's. Spring Grove. Ewes and lambs brought 8s per head, cows in miik, £4 Via 61 to £5 15s; steer-, -2s 63; heifers, 455; young pigs, 23s to 325; raare, 10 years old, £12 10s; two-year old foal by GJancer, _>15 ; mare, guaranteed staunch, suitable for all kinds of heavy work, £20; another useful mare, £16 Growing crops — oat*, 58s to 60s per acre; wheat, £5 10s per acre. There was an unusual large attendance, the bidding was spirited throughout, and most satisfactory prices were obtained.
