San Francisco Mail Service.— The Taranaki left Wellington for Nelson via Picton this afternoon, and will proceed from here to Auckland to-morrow afternoon with the homeward mails, which will be transhipped into the Governor Blackball, }iu-J by ht-r conveyed to Kandavau, where she wili meet the Macgregor which sails from Sydney for San Francisco tomorrow. The important sale ol sheep, cattle, and horses to have bsen held yesterday at Mr James Harper's, Spring Grove, was postponed in consequence of the weather until Tuesday next, 23rd iustant.
