THE EXHIBITION.

During the whrtaof yesterday afternoon up to six o'clock, when the doors were closed in order to allow preparations to te made for the conceit, the Exhibition buildings were crowded, a large number of visitors having come in from the country. At ba!f-pa3l six the doors were reopened, and as the people had in the meantime, been mustering in large force outside, there was quite a rush to obtain admission, the dresses of several ladies suffering considerably io the struggle. Merely to say that the Hall was crowded would give no idea whatever of the appearance it presented from the platform, but though closely packed, a more ordorly gathering it ia impossible to conceive. The conceit wua a most decided 6uccess, the choruses, considering the very few times that the performers bad met together, going remarkably well, and with astonishing precision. We are glad to learn that it is intended to repeat it on Tuesday afternoon. The great attraction to-day has been TOE POULTRY SHOW
