Ba-A_b. — A bazaar in aid of St Mary's Convent and Orphanage will be held during the week at the Temperance Hall, commencing to-morrow. The object is to clear off the liabilities incurred in the
pnrchase of land and erection of bnildings at St Mary's Station. Rifle Match. — We understand lhat a Ride match will take place on Wednesday between the City Rifles and tho Stoke K;fles, ten men aside, ranges 200, 400, and 500 yanls, (ivo shots at each range. The City 'Mflea leave tbe town at seven s.m. on Wedoesday morning. Australian Bellringers. — The Lynch family of bellringers, accompanied by Mr Frank Verten, a popular comic singer and dancer, arrived by ihe Wellington yesterday, and will perform at the* Masonic Hall on this aud the four following They bring with them a high reputation from Australia as well as from Dunedin, Christchurch. nnd Wellington, where they bave been performing tp crowded houses. For full particulars we refer our readers to the programme as advertised. We have been requested tp state that this is the first appearance of the Lynch Family in Nelson. .
