Sydney won the All < 'omers Match. The Intercolonial Military Weapon Match 20 a side, competed for by VJctoriaj New South Wales, and New Z aland %ns won by New South Wales by 65 points. Christie and Small made 85 points each, Reid and Hoskin 83 each, Fox 82, Goldie 79, Hunt and Fen ton 77 each, Alder ton 78, Stone 76, Halse 75, MEedie 74, Taylor 71, Munyard end Eicks f9 each, Thurston and Chapman 68 eacb, Boss 65, Partington 61, Stonebridge 58. The firing generally wa9 not very pood. The highest score at 200 yarda out of a possible 40 wa<* the 35 made by Alderton, Hoskin made 54 at 500 yards, but at 600 did badly. At the conclusion of tbe match cheers were given for the different teams. Captain Goldie ~fe.ponded for New Zealand. At the 2QO yards range , New Zealand ht-aded Victoria, but they. fell off afterwards. Tbe general matches commence to-day, - when ali will compete. Walker is chosen Captain of the New Zealand team. The selection of the twenty is not thought most satisfactory.
