SEALED TENDERS wili be received at the General Postofflce, Wellington, until SATURDAY, tlie Ist of November next, for the performance (luring a period of Twelve Months, of either the undermentioned STEAM SERVICES, connectirig'the East and West Coasts of the Middle Inland. 1. A steamer to leave Dunedin once in every month, proceeding to the West Coast of the Middle Island by way of Cook and Foveaux Straits, alternately. The Bteamer to call at Lyttelton, Picton, Net- ' son, Westport, Greymouth, Hokitika, and the Bluff 2. To leave Dunedin once every fortnight, th steamer proceeding to the West Coast by the North and South routes, alternately, calling at the ports previously named; or, 3. To leave Dunedin and Nelson every alternate fortnight."
