Bluff, September 25. The 8.8. Albion, Captain John M'Lean, with the English August mail, arrived at the Bluff at 430p m. She left Melbourne on the night of the vOth instant, anu brings 34 saloon and 24 steerage passengers. She has 440 tons of c rgo for all ports. She sails for Dunedin to-morrow afternoon. Wellington, September 25 The Government in their advertisements for coal have removed the restriction as to the coal being from Sew South Wales. September 26. A leading article in the Independent 10-^ay directly accuses the Government of suppressing documents that would have influenced the Committee on Mr Hrogien's petition. The Independent also says it whs clear yesterday that a mtij»rity existed in tlvi House in favor of printing the tviilerice. but its publication w&8 burked by the Government. It expresses ;i hope that the House will be afforded another opportunity of expressing its opinions on the question, and concludes by snying that the Cover meat are losing ground and forfeiting the confidence of their supporters by burking evidence and discussion. A private London telegram quotea wheat at 70s per quarter. Sales of wheat have been made up to 6s 7d, with a strong market. [from a correspondent.] Waiau, September 26. A supposed wreck and loss of life six weeks ago is 'eported. A man n?med Valentine left the Waiau in a new schooner built there, for Lyttelton, and was never heard of since. A portion of the wreck has now been four d at the mouth of the Waiau, and identified as belonging to Valentine's craft. Men are now searching for the bodies of the two missing men.
