Passengers are reminded that the above steamer has lately undergone a most thorough overhaul of hull and machinery, besides receiving a new boiler. Her saloon has been entirely renovated, and her fore-cabin considerably enlarged. Altogether, she may be pronounced to be one of the fastest and most comfortable passenger steamers in the Australian Colonies. Shippers and consignees are hereby informed that particular attention will be paid to the transhipment of cargo at the Manukau. As one of the Company's steamers will always be ready on the Phoebe's arrival from Syduey, the Company will always be iv a position to guarantee that no delay will take place in forwarding cargo. The want of regular communication between Sydney and the Southern ports of this Colony has long been felt, and the Company therefore rely upon the support of the public for this the shortest koute between Australia and New Zealand.
