Resident Magistrate's Court. -— Waimea Road Board v. Eden. Judgment for the plaintiffs was delivered to-day. The Magistrate said that as the defence was little better thau a fraudulent evasion o( a just debt, he would grant a re-heariDg of the .former case, and, if plaintiffs wished it, would issue a fraud summons in the present case under the Resident Magistrates' Act, 1868. Telegraphic Omissions. — We have again to call attention to the negligence of those whose business it is to forward to Nelson reports of the movements of shipping connected with this port. The Charles Edward left: Westport yesterday, at noon, but up to tbe time of her arrival here this morning no intimation of her having sailed had reached the Telegraph Office She reports that an hour before she left the Murray arrived at Westport from Nelson, but on this subject, too, the wires have been silent. Such carelessness is quite inexcusable. San Francisco Mail. — The Claud Hamilton was the bearer of the following telegram from Mr Russell to Mr Yogel : — "I have agreed with the Hon S.
