The warehousemen were active, and not unselfish. Figures showed that the new tariff would yield ao increase of £90,000. It was not designed to increase the revenue. Government would press tbe bill. Tbe Reporting Debates Committee intend to bring before tbe House a question relative to the Speaker's right, in suppressing in the House a portion of a letter from the editor of the Evening Post to him.
