Tiik port prese"ted quite an animated appearance about noon toda*. when four fteamers sailed for various ports At the Government •wharf the A'bion was loading for Melbourne, the Phoebe for Picton and South nnd the Wallace for the West < "oast poits; and at Mr Cross's wharf the Paterson was getting up steam for Taranaki ami Manukau.
