Parish of Christ Church. — The meeting of parishioners which was to bo held on Monday next is postponed, on accouot of the pubiio meeting advertised for that evening, until Wednesday. Lecture at Stoke.-— The Rev. T. Ruddle will deliver _ a lecture in the Wesleyan Chapel at Stoke on Tuesday evening next, on " Infidelity — Christianity and Infidelity contrasted." Excursion Trip. — Tho steamer Wallace will leave the wharf at 8 o'clock this evening carrying excursionits to the scene of (he wreck of the Riugitoto. Our telegrams sla'e that the divers are at work ths-re, and an opportunity wili be thus afforded of watching lheir operations. Accident. — This morning ns Bachanan 1 ;, trap n>as driving up Hardy-atreet the jolt occasioned by erossinv oue of the recently filled in gas-pipe trenches threw the swing tree out of place, aud thus falling on the horse's hocks caused him to kick, and capsize the conveyance. There are three or four cival actions of some importance to be tried, but these will be heard before Bpecial juries. Madame Cora. — The attractions of Madame Cora'e performances and her distribution of gifts do not seem to diminish io the least, the Hall being more and more crowded every night. It is difficult to sny which fiuds most favor with the audience, the aerial suspension of Mdlle Christina, with which the entertainment closes every night, or the flutter of excitement tbat prevails during that very interesting portion of the evening which is devoted to the distribution of the numerous and valuable prizes that are nightly given away.
