WRECK OF THE RANGITOTO.
We learn from a private telegram received in town this afternoon, of the wreck of the Rangitoto, which left Nelson yesterday. It appears that while steaming along in company with tho Wellington I she struck on a rock off Jackson's Head, near Picton; the Wellington immediately shut off steam and assisted in removing passengers and luggage, shortly after tbe Rangitoto sank. Full particulars are not yet to haad.
