Fire. — The old residence of Mr E. Green, at the Sands, was totally destroyed hy fire laat night between 1 1 and 12 o'clock. The origin ia unknown. Resignation of Mr Reid. —In a lengthy address to his constituents Mr Reid expresses his intention of retiring from the Provincial Council.
