Mr. Richardaon to acknowledge the receipt of your lotter of the 24ih ultimo, forwarding copies of two resolutions relative to the route of the Nelson and' Foxhill. railway, passed at a public meeting held_in Nelson on the previous evening, and in reply to inform you that Mr Richardsou will be happy Jo receive the deputation appointed to urge the views of the ineeting on his attention.
