THE limits of the several Sub-Distiicts, as hereinafter named, into which the Waimea Road Board District is now divided, are hereby given for general information: — 1. Stoke includes that part of the Waimea Road Board District lying between the City boundary and -the ro.-»d leading from the Waimea Mutiflat eastward, and passing by Mr Rowbothani's and Mr Saxton's Farms. 2. Waimea East has the Sub -District of Stoke and the Waimea Mudflat for its Northern boundary, and is bounded on the West and South by the Waimea and Wairoa rivers. 3. Spring Grove, lies between the Waimea river and.the line of the Pitfure road, and has for its Western boundary the Wai-iti river up to Verry's road, where the boundary crosses the river in line with snid road, so as to include that part of Pigeon Valley lying between, and including, Mr G. Fairhali'd Section 208, and the line of the Pitfure road as far as Mr Baigent's Section 67. 4. Wakefield has for its Western boundary a line .from the N. W. corner of Mr Baigent's Section 67, to the top of the ridge on the Stanley Brook road, and comprises the whole of the Waimea District south df Spring Grove -5. Waimea West is bounded on the East by the Waimea and Wai-iti rivers, as far as Verry's road; on the South by that I art of Pigeon Valley in Fpring Grove; on the West by a straight line from ihe' corner of Mr G. Fairhall's Section 208, in Pigeon Valley, to the beginning of the bush on the road from Eves's Valley to Dovedale; and on the North by the Waimea District boundary. 6; Dovedale includes the remainder of the Wajmea District. THE Undersigned give notice that they intend to.apply to two or more Justices of the Peace, at a sitting to be held on WEDNESDAY, the 30th day of July, 1873, at the Court-house, Nelson, for an order for STOPPING UP the undermentioned ROADS, and for making others in lieu thereof; aud further, that we have caused survey plans of the several lines of roads pro» posed to be stopped up, substituted, and made, together with the books of reference and estimates to be deposited with the Clerk to the Magistrates, at Nelson, and with the Constable of tbe district of Suburban North ; — To stop up part of a road in the district of Suburban North, running from the line of road stoppei under order of the Magistrates, 4th September, 1856, in a South- . easterly direction for a distance of 400 links, and 1800 links to the division line between Sections 10 and 11. and which is shown by the pink color on. the plan at- . inched to this application, arid to stop up a certain occupiers road in the said district, and running through ihe Section numbered Vl, commencing at the trunk line of road to Nelson, and running in a South-easterly direction for a distance of about 2200 links, and terminating at a line. of road luaaing up to Dodson's farm, and is shown by blue color on the plan attached to this application, and to substitute a certain other rond, 50 links in width, running through the said Section numbered 11, commencing on the trunk line of road to Nelson, and running in a S-'outh-easterly direction for a distance of about 1900 links, and terminating at a line of road leading up to Dodson's farm, and which is shown by green color on the plan attached to thia application, and is the road now being made by the Road Board for the district.
