June 19.—Joseph Ward & Company have been appointed agents for the Osborn, Wallsend, and Mount Pleasant Collieries at Woollongong. The Victoria sails for Auckland to-day. Captain Moresby, of HM.S. In the great squatting property case of Degraves versus M'Mullen, Inspector of the Union Bank, a verdict was given for the plaintiff for £10,200. The first shipment of Harrison's frozen meat goes by the Norfolk in July. Tasmanian hops are shipping to India.
