The Nelson Evening Mail. WEDNESDAY, JUNE 25, 1873.

The Cabandinis. — We remind our readers of the concert to be giveu this evening by the Carandini Company, assisted by Mr George Cotterell. Masonio Ball.— This ball took place last 'night, and was a great success, tbe room having been, tastefully decorated with ferns, flowers, and crimson drapery, Masonic signs and symbols beiug placed at intervals on the walls. The skylight was tastefully ornamented with ferns, the work having been entrusted to Mr Joseph, but the effect was somewhat marred by a number of fly-papers suspended from fche ceiling. Dancing was kept up with great spirit until an early hour this morning. -
